National Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Institute, name of prof. Eleonora Reicher in Warsaw

On the 16th of September 2021, we saw the grand opening of a Clinical Trials Support Centre as part of the clinical infrastructure of National Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Institute is a research facility with a lot of experience and qualifications in commercial and non-commercial clinical trials, particularly in the field or rheumatology. The mission of the newly established CTSC is to use the available resources, the innovative management model, and the latest achievements of science to ensure better accessibility of advanced methods of treatment, improve patient health and quality of life, and contribute to a more innovative healthcare system in compliance with the highest world standards. The management of the Clinical Trials Support Centre has been put in the hands of a strong, competent, and highly qualified team whose knowledge and experience will ensure a growing project portfolio managed in accordance with the relevant development strategy in order to effectively supervise and perform clinical trials at the Institute.

Principal advantages:

  • Over a decade, the Institute has taken part in 38 clinical trials, e.g. in the fields of rheumatology, immunology, neurology, cardiology and orthopaedics.
  • Since 2018, the Institute has been a member of the Polish Network of Biobanks being developed as part of the BBMRI-ERIC European research infrastructure.
